Mesa, Arizona, a city deeply rooted in military tradition, continues to honor its veterans through annual events and dedicated support services.
On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, the city will host the East Valley Veterans Day Parade, a cherished tradition that brings the community together to pay tribute to those who have served. This year's theme, "Ready Then, Ready Now: 250 Years of Military Service," underscores the enduring readiness and resilience of America's Armed Forces. The parade will commence at 11 a.m. at the intersection of Center Street and University Drive, proceeding south on Center Street, turning west onto First Street, and concluding at Robson. The event is free and open to the public, offering a heartfelt opportunity for residents to express their gratitude. [Source: City of Mesa]
Adding to the festivities, the Gem City Veterans Day Celebration will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Organized by Cider Corps, a veteran-owned business, this street-party-style event will feature local craft beverages, live music from veteran musicians, and a variety of food and activities suitable for all ages. Longmore, Suite 5, the center offers a comprehensive range of support, including individual and group counseling, family therapy, and assistance with the transition to civilian life. These services are designed to address the unique challenges faced by veterans and their families, ensuring they receive the care and support they deserve.
